Policy and Procedures to Bankruptcy Matters
We’ve instituted these measures for your safety as well as for the safety of our bankruptcy attorney and staff.
The physical location of the office on Parsons Avenue in Brandon is currently closed. However, we are still working. Processing will be remote for a short time. There is an intent to re-open a physical location in Brandon, Florida soon but for now we’ve made remote conferencing, processing, and filing as smooth as we can. As a side benefit, a reduction in attorney’s fee is available.
Video conferencing made easy
We use video conferencing to ensure the safest interaction possible with our clients. Our platform is confidential and easy to use. All we need is your email and we can send you not only a reminder alarm, but a link for these video meetings.
We input information directly into our bankruptcy software so there is no need for you to spend hours filling out forms. We do ask that you be available to answer questions pertaining to your specific case as needed.
Routine consumer bankruptcy generally takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours and may require two sessions. If you wish to use your smartphone, please ensure you are able to properly hold your phone up and that it is fully charged during video conferencing calls.
As of the Date of this writing, May 26th 2020, even the Bankruptcy Courts are using phones for Court Hearings as well as standing Trustees. Section 341 Meetings of the creditors are being conducted by phone as well.
